Robin Hood Auditions March 12 & 13
Auditions for Robin Hood will be held Monday and Tuesday, March 12 & 13 at the Old Town Playhouse from 4:00 until 6:00 each day. Students must be at least 9 years of age and no older than 18. There are NO prerequisites for Robin Hood, anyone interested may attend. The audition will consist of readings from the script and a short fight choreography sequence. Come dressed in comfortable clothes that you can move in and suitable shoes (no sandals or heavy boots please). You need only attend one of the two days but plan on staying for the full two hours. If selected for the cast, rehearsals will begin the following week and run Monday through Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00. There will be no rehearsals scheduled for the week of Spring Break. Not every role will be called for every rehearsal, most conflicts can be worked around. Robin Hood performs on the Main Stage at the Old Town Playhouse June 8 & 9 at 7:00 p.m. and June 10 at 2:00 p.m. Students interested in signing up for a technical crew (lights, set, costumes, etc.) are asked to attend one of the audition days and fill out the appropriate application. Robin Hood is Directed by Mychelle Hopkins. Tuition of $120 will be taken only upon entry into the program and scholarships are available. For more information, contact Mychelle at 947-2210 ext. 103.
