Our inaugural Staged Reading, Sam Shovel - Private Eye, is a parody 1940s detective noir reminiscent of an old-time radio show, complete with live sound effects! It’s a hot and sultry day in the gritty city, and Sam Shovel has a dead man sprawled in her office, stabbed in the back with a yardstick. Ends up this is just the first of a string of murders happening in the fashion industry and it’s up to the private eye to find the connecting thread and sew up the case. It's sure to leave you in stitches!
