Accompanist

Responsible for providing piano accompaniment during rehearsals with the cast. Scheduled by the Production Manager. Ideally they would also be utilized in the orchestra if their schedule allows. If the Vocal Director is also a pianist, this could be one person. (This is a paid position.)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be present at requested vocal rehearsals and assist the Vocal Director in teaching the cast their music.  
• Be part of the orchestra pit during the run of the show, if able. This aids in continuity when adding the orchestra to the cast rehearsals.
